The Elements of a Healing Service
You may feel that a Healing Service is only for those who are ill. A Healing Service is for everyone!

The evening will begin by asking for God's forgiveness in the Sacrament of Confession. We will pray the Holy Rosary to our Blessed Mother, who through her intercession will deliver our prayers to her Son, Jesus. Mass will be celebrated and immediately following the mass, there will be the laying on of hands and prayers for healing.

Through the laying on of hands you are allowing God's Holy Spirit to touch you. This may bring forth, according to the Divine Will of God, a healing of spirit, mind, body and/or the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You may ask God for a healing of someone other than yourself.

During the laying on of hands you may see people "resting in the Spirit". This is the experience of the power of the Holy Spirit filling one with an inner awareness. During this time the individual is intimately touched by the healing power of the Holy Spirit. While resting in the Spirit, relax in God's love and gently praise and thank Him for loving you. If you do not experience the manifestation of resting in the Spirit, that does not mean that God has not touched you in a special way. You may experience His healing touch later in the evening, the next day or in the weeks that follow. Keep an open mind and heart and allow God to work with you.
St. Michael Prayer
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in Battle, Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
